Dr. Stephen Sales is an Assistant Professor of healthcare management and leadership at the Texas Tech University health Sciernces Center (TTUHSC). He teaches healthcare leadership, operations, quality improvement and patient safety, organizational behavior, comparative health systems, and financial management to studemnts enrolled in the Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) program. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1990 at the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1992 at Indiana University, and a Doctor of Health Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2021. He began his career in healthcare in 1992 with the United States Air Force and served in that capacity for 21 years in a variety of leadership roles, culminating with the position of executive director for medical practice management for 140 clinics worldwide.
