Jim Sapienza's healthcare career in Operations and Strategy has spanned health systems, life sciences, hospitals and medical groups with added emphasis in quality, finance and marketing. In addition to his executive roles, Jim has served on numerous business and professional association boards, including President of the Washington State healthcare executive's group. He also served two terms as the only non-radiologist on the RSNA Quality Improvement Committee. Following a professional sports career, Jim transitioned to a career in healthcare leadership. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and the School of Public Health, obtaining his MHA and MBA degrees. He is an Asana Certified Pro in planning and project management. He is Lean Certified in quality and performance improvement. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. His current role at Drexel is to lead efforts at the nation's largest private medical school and across 7 Colleges of the University to innovate and transform clinical care aligned with the medical school missions.
