Principal Consultant
Crossroads Health Consulting, LLC
I am a clinical health psychologist who is deeply committed to the integration of behavioral health in primary and specialty medical care. I have spent my entire career working at the intersection of behavioral health and medicine. Currently, I am the Principal Consultant at Crossroads Health Consulting, where I work with clinical practices and health care organizations to build effective strategies for integrating behavioral health and medical services. I provide strategic guidance, training and technical assistance, leadership development and coaching, and program design and implementation services, to help clients harness the potential of integrated care. Between 1997 and 2018, I provided consultation to the medical staff of the Adult Congenital Heart Service at Boston Children's/Brigham and Women's Hospital, to help them facilitate the emotional well-being of the patients they cared for. From 2013-2023, I led the development and growth of a comprehensive clinical program that integrated more than 135 behavioral health clinicians and psychiatric APRNs, in a statewide pediatric primary care network of 85 practices, affiliated Boston Children's Hospital. As part of this work I provided operational consultation to managing partners and practice administrators, and provided clinical and operational consultation to multidisciplinary primary care teams as they integrated behavioral health and substance use services in their respective primary care practices. In this role I was a Course Director for three CME/CE-accredited courses on integrated care, resulting in 60-70 hours of CME/CE training annually. I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in 1995, and my professional affiliations include: Boston Children's Hospital (1994-2023); Harvard Medical School (1996-2023); Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (1992 to 1995); and Human Relations Service (1994 to 2023).
