a) understand your methodology options for your healthcare approach to improvement, b) learn the improvement process by practicing core skills in the workshop, and c) get your questions answered before leaving to enhance your chances for success in your next clinic-based workshop.
A challenge presented to all attendees will be learning a core set of process improvement skills to leave this workshop and return to your medical group, clinic, or department to implement a process improvement. These skills will be taught using two core examples:
1. within the patient visit workflow, from patient arrival to patient discharge, and 2. within the revenue cycle, from appointment scheduled to bill reconciled and closed. Breakout sessions will be employed for these learn-by-doing activities.
Your chances for success improve when you are able to gain all stakeholder engagement and support. How do you best gain that? The answer lies in your understanding of your culture and your culture’s response to engagement and change management in quality and process improvement, no matter if you are at the start or many years in.
During the workshop, this presentation will engage and entertain you through history and facts, career anecdotes, evidence-based studies, and your own work. Attend to gain valuable insights and skills to support your future quality and process improvement success.
